Chicken Marsala

One of my favorites, but not always the healthiest! I very easily made this a very healthy and low fat dish. Read below for ingredients and directions. Also click this link below to view a step by step video on how to create this dish. :)

Chicken Marsala Video:


1 lb of Chicken Breast Cutlets 
1 lb of Sliced Mushroom
1/2 Cup of Marsala Wine
1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
Pinch of Salt
1/2 Tsp Pepper

1/3 Box of Pasta (gluten free or whole grain)
1 TBSP of flour


Heat EVOO in a pan on medium heat and lay your cutlets in pan. Cook on each side until lightly browned and cooked through. About 10 minutes.

While your chicken is cooking bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your pasta. Drain and set aside when done.

Once chicken is cooked, remove from pan and lay on a plate.
Then add mushrooms to the pan you just removed the chicken from. Saute mushrooms until soft. Then sprinkle in flour, then whisk in broth and marsala wine. Simmer on medium heat until sauce reaches desired thickness. Continue to whisk. Once sauce is at desired thickness add chicken back to pan and turn heat down to low and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. 

Then serve! 1 Red, 1 Green, 1 Yellow and 1 Teaspoon
